“Children, apologize for the” mess, Russian forces' message on a school table in Ukraine

Since Ukrainian forces were able to regain control of the Ukrainian village of Katiuzhanka, they found a destroyed school with destroyed equipment and deep pits in the football field.

Along the entrance of one of the classes, they found a letter addressed to the students and signed “by the Russians”.

The writing was written in Russian and left on the blackboard.

The letter, which was seen by CNN, says: “Children, we apologize for this mess, we tried to save the school, but there were bombings”

School director Mikola Mitichik told CNN that Russian troops “had left nothing at school” and he said he remained “spyfur” when reading the message.
