Albania's EU integration has reportedly been supported by Bulgaria even earlier when the process has been more difficult than today.
We support him today, regardless of everything, on behalf of a common European future”.
“Politicians leave. The nations remain. Our peoples have a common interest, which should not be violated by a misjudgment of politicians”, it says in response, broadcasts Klakosova.tv.
Full Response
Bulgaria has always been among those European Union member states that support the European affiliation of the Albanian people.
We have defended Albania's European perspective and the beginning of negotiations for EU membership, even when it was much harder than today.
Over the years there hasn't been a lot of other voices with us in this cause. We defend it today, regardless of everything, in the name of a common European future.
In response, this is not the first time we've heard unprotested quality, insulting by a head of government.
Such a low language registry can no longer be justified by nature and lack of European communication skills.
We expect the Albanian prime minister to adapt his speech tools to a language that fits a politician of a candidate country for EU membership.
At this level, more than any other, we insist on maintaining a good tone of communication.
At this level we have always shown all the respect that requires a responsible position and level of interstate relations.
We have a common future with Albania. Politicians leave. The nations remain.
Our peoples have a common interest that should not be violated by a politician's misjudgment.
It is unacceptable that relations between states become a hostage to the ecstasy of the current Albanian prime minister.
