Alpinists are trapped in Valbona: One in the impossible to move, helicopter intervention required

Shortly after receiving the announcement, Police Services of the Tropoja Commissioner, together with the medical team, have headed towards the area where climbers allegedly were blocked.

Because of the difficult and rugged terrain and the distance of tourists from the area that can be covered by vehicles, helicopter intervention has been required, with the aim of providing assistance to damaged citizens.

From available information, 2 stranded climbers are being assisted by 2 other (alpinists), who were also exploring the Valbona area. /tch/
