Zelensky willing to speak only to Putin, but on one condition

Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky said in a video connection at the World Economic Forum today in Davos that Vladimir Putin was the only Russian official that he was willing to meet with only one goal to end the war. “without (Putin) decisions are not made. “without (Putin) decisions are not made. And we must be aware of that... And if we talk about a concrete decision about ending the war, then this decision will not be made without it. And after what they did, you know, we don't have a big wish for those meetings and there can't be a great desire to meet the mediators. Therefore, in principle, I do not accept any meeting with anyone from the Russian Federation except the president of the Russian Federation. And only if there's a question on the table to finish the war. That's it. There is nothing else to talk about,” said Zelensky, Ukrinform reports.
Ukraine's president noted that negotiating with Russia is becoming increasingly difficult in light, as he said, of the Russian Army's obvious actions against civilians under occupation.
Zelensky also said that any attempts to force the Crime Peninsula, which Russia annexed in 2014, would cause hundreds of thousands of casualties.
Earlier today, Zelensky called for more weapons and maximum sanctions against Moscow at the World Economic Forum in Davos, including a full suspension of trade with Russia, which attacked his country three months ago.
He also called for a full suspension of trade with Russia, including an embargo on Russian oil, and called for measures against all Russian banks, without exception, and the withdrawal of all foreign companies from the Russian market.
