In his night speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Britain and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
He said: “if all in the world, or at least the overwhelming majority, were steadfast and courageous leaders like Ukraine, like Britain, I'm sure we would have already completed this war and restored peace throughout our territory freed for all our people. But we still have to fight. Fight. As you said, Boris, addressing Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian Parliament) before yesterday, we are still writing one of the most victorious chapters in our history”.
At the end of his speech, he said, "Thank you, Britain! Thank you, Boris. Thank you all. Glory to Ukraine
