In April, a photograph by a Russian passport describing Volodymyr Zelensky as a youth was distributed on the telegram app, along with a false claim that as a Russian citizen, Zelesnky was not legitimate for the Ukrainian presidency.
The event was distributed by at least two Russian portals.
However, there is no evidence that Zelensky is a Russian citizen. The passport photo is CHAfake and Zelenskly's photo has been forged.
The BBC has analysed the image in the passport and found that the photograph does not belong to a passport, but it is an old photograph that can be found on a Russian-language website in an article about Zelensky and his wife's “love story.
Bernhard found that the date issue was out of harmony with other information in the passport and it seems that photography was created using part of the software that produces fake Russian passports. /Periscopi/
