Prime Minister Albin Kurti has met on Saturday, not formally, with Gabriel Escobar, the envoy of the American State Department for the Western Balkans.
Both have been seen at the reception organised by the American Councils organisation for Kosovo Prime Minister in Washington, D.C.
The prime minister's office announced that Kurti met with management of the organisation, which implements several US research programmes as well as other guests. Other guests include Escobar.
At the end of his stay in Washington D.C., Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was received by American Councils, where he met with his leaders and other guest guests”, the government announced in a press release.
Escobar, two days ago, met in Washington with Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union's envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
American Councils also operates in Kosovo and is the implementation organisation of several research programmes in the United States supported by the United States Government.
Among them is the program KAEF, which dedicates itself to the country's long-term economic development through the education of young people from Kosovo at the most selected universities in the US.
