Dialogue is the only right way to resolve open issues, as well as to reach a stable agreement, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has declared at the meeting with European Parliament MP Violet von Cremon. According to the presidency's announcement, Vuciq said he expects constructive support for dialogue and finding a compromise solution, with the implementation of all agreements and, above all, the formation of the Serbian Communist Association.
According to him, Serbia will continue to follow its European path. Eurodeputa Von Cromon stressed, the presidency reports, that respecting the rights of Serbs in Kosovo is in the interest of the European Union and the European Parliament, and stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue, adding that in the current geopolitical situation it is necessary for both sides to be responsible and refrain from provocations.
Meanwhile, speaking to Serbian media, Von Croamon said that Kosovo should also have its place in the EU, and that it is not in the EU's interest that Serbia lobbies against Kosovo independence.
“I would like Kosovo to be on the same level as Serbia within the EU. This is in interest even for the Serbian people, because without resolving this issue it will be difficult for Serbia to be part of the EU”, said Violet Von Cremon. Regarding the issue of sanctions, she said this should be the matter of the Government of Serbia. “If they want to be “part of the club” it goes with values, standards and standards, and not for the EU to force someone to do something”, the Eurodeput said during its stay in Belgrade, RTK reported.
