Police Officer Triumf Riza was killed in 2007.
I as the parent of my murdered son, I'm not very satisfied with the justice system and to tell you the truth, it's as if the trial is literally killing my son. We are being very distressed by what is not yet a final act of judgment. For the defenders of the accused have the right to complain continually. So it's really lasting. It's a process that's been going on so long, and when this process lasts so long, for a cop killed elite, then I don't understand how long it lasts. It's not just my case, but serious murders, serious crimes should be resolved much sooner,”, he said on the Kosovo “Justice show”.
For Riza, it is meaningless why the trial of his son's murder is dragging itself on and no final decision is being made. As the perpetrators of this murder has been convicted by Arben Berisha, who for the murder of the policeman has been sentenced to 35 years in prison, which has become the penalty of a formal form. However, Berisha was not the only person charged with involvement in the Reisa assassination. A few years later, an indictment was also filed against Enver Sekirafas, who allegedly pushed convicted Berisha into the police murder.
