Russian leader Vladimir Putin has underwent surgery last week, and everything has gone well. The operation has been to treat cancer and it seems he's already recovering. The news lets the media know, while word has long circulated that the Russian president is seriously ill with cancer.
The 69-year-old was subjected to a procedure last Monday, following doctors' advice, under which this was a step that must have been taken, according to what is being posted on the telegram “General SVR”, which claims to receive information from inside the Kremlin.
The news began to circulate just hours before Putin showed up on state television at the meeting with ally Alexander Lukashenko in Sochi, where he was caught in the camera, twisting his legs while the pair were sitting for talks.
It's the second time Putin was filmed making the weird move, which was caught on camera during a meeting with Tajikistan's president a week ago. There was no lack of hint that the Russian leader may be suffering from Parkinson's disease.
Words about Putin's health began at least two years ago when it was said that he was suffering both from Parkinson's disease and cancer, but by the start of the war they have received extra attention. /abcnews.al/
