A stab attack in Norway, four people injured

At least four people were stabbed in an attack in Numedal, southeast Norway, local police said.

The victims reportedly are in critical condition.

The suspect has since been arrested, officials said.

“can confirm that we have the suspect under control”, a police spokesman told Reuters.

Authorities have not shown what motives they suspect stand behind this attack, and police said citizens have shown that the attacker “currently <x1) has chosen the victims that attacked them.

Last October, in the same place, Numedal, an attacker killed five people using knives and arrows. Police had said the attacker had Danish citizenship and had mental problems. /rel
