A panel of judges met on Wednesday in Kiev to begin the first hearing against Vadim Shishimari, who participated in the February 24th Russian invasion, which is a case of highly symbolic value to Ukraine.
He told the judge he pleaded guilty. If proven, Sishimari can be sentenced to life imprisonment.
The court said Shishimari was ordered by another servant to kill the civilian so that he could not report the presence of the Russians and shoot him through the open window of the car with a gun to the head of the civilian who left him dead in the country. /Periscopi/
