According to Guillou, Shala cannot be released on bail, as the same risk of escaping could hinder the performance of specialised chamber procedures, or the risk of committing further crimes against those perceived as KLA opponents.
On the other hand, Guillou says that Peter Shala's parole could also endanger witnesses who have testified or testified in the Special Chambers, which, according to him, continue to exist.
We remember that Peter Shala is accused of crimes allegedly committed between May and June 1999 against persons who were detained at a factory in Kukes, Albania.
