North Korea launched a ballistic missile to the sea off its eastern coast earlier this morning, South Korean military headquarters said.
The rocket flew some 70 miles [470 km] to a maximum height of 780 miles [780 km], the South Korean Army announced.
A week ago, European said it would develop its nuclear forces “as soon as possible”.
Phenani has launched more than ten test rockets since the beginning of the year and an intercstinctical ballistic missile (ICBM) in March, for the first time since 2017.
Apparently, this is the 14th missile test this year and a few days before South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol takes over on May 10th.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of the South Korean Armed Forces (JCS) said the missile was launched from an area of genus known as Sunan.
Sunan is also home to the international airport, from which North Korea claims its largest cross-circular ballistic missile (ICBM), Hwasong-17, was launched on 24 March.
Seoul considers European movements a serious threat to peace and stability not only in the Korean Peninsula but also internationally.
Phenani has recently launched military experiments, including a test release of a long-range action missile for the first time since 2017.
Seoul and Washington share the view that it is possible that the country is preparing for a new round of nuclear weapons testing.
