Over a thousand and 200 health professionals engaged as support staff in the COVID-19 pandemic management, who have not been paid for about three months, say they have no information about why this is happening. Of the Kosovo Nurses' Oda, but even the Parliamentary Commission for Health expresses concern about these non-payings. They are considering this action to be a source of concern and demotic act for young doctors and nurses.
Ilirjan Ademiaj, from September, has been engaged as a nurse in intensive care. Infectious clinic. He says that by means of May, it takes three months that they have not received a cent for the services they offer.

Speaking of the Kosovo priss microphone, he says that despite their working without additional pay for weekends, caretakers and parties, even the minimum wage they are offered they are not receiving.

We have two full months that we haven't been paid now, we're even at the end of almost the third month and we don't have any information on wages, even though we've agreed to work for free nights, we work weekends and parties for free now not to get these minimum salaries to say so it's really been too much... It's been a disaster because we don't know whether we're considered public or private professionals because we're not entering any categories and we don't have those additions”, he said.

Ademiaj says that despite their insistence on understanding what is happening, the Ministry of Health has not returned to them.

He adds that as a result of not paying salaries many of the committed nurses have been forced to leave the ministry and find other jobs after raising families and spending expenses.

The demands have been continuous and we've got a group initiative we've gone to the Ministry of Health, but we haven't got an answer to what's going to happen to us, for our salaries... Many of us either travel or maybe even carry families and because they are not paid they are forced to start another job and then they are forced to leave it here”, Adaj stressed.

The Ministry of Health's move is disgruntled by the Kosovo Nurses' House.

Chairman of the Nurses' House Kosovo, Nasser Rrustemi tells Kosovo that it is disturbing how nurses who sacrificed themselves during the difficult days of pandemic are not now being paid for their labor.

Even Rrustemi confirms that some of them have already been forced to quit, although the reasons he says they don't know how OIC why MS isn't paying them over a thousand and 200 health professionals.

There's been two months that didn't take wages even though they signed a contract, we don't know why and we don't have information... and for me, but it's very disturbing and damaging to them because you're working two months and you don't get a normal salary, only one left work yesterday said I didn't have any money to come to work, not even for transport. So part of them have already begun to quit, so it's disturbing”, he said.

On the other hand, the member of the Commission for Health and Social Goodness from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Shemsedin Dresaj, says that access to health workers is not serious.

Seeking immediate execution of wages, Dreshai, who is also infected with the BKUK Infectious Clinic, says that pandemic is not yet complete and the need for these doctors and nurses is obvious.

The particular approach to health workers is not serious on the part of the Government, the reason is that we're still in the pandemic. So new cases are still being identified we still have active cases, at the same time as the different countries of the distant birth have already begun to close again we have lockdowns on North Korea and other countries. In this situation it's inconsistent that workers who have been faced throughout the pandemic are left unemployed... This is really to worry, they deserve the commitment they have had to be paid, so that's their job they've done, and it's up to them that, as soon as I can make the compensation of these tools that haven't been paid up to this day”, Dresaj said.

And for all this trouble from the Ministry of Health have a brief answer.

From this dictatorship through a letter to Kosova Prees, says that they are constantly considering the possibilities for paying health support staff engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo is constantly trying and reviewing every possibility for paying health workers, or support staff employed during the COVID pandemic-19”, the MS response said.

Regarding not executing salaries of doctors and nurses who were engaged by the MSh for pandemic management, but also in the process of anti-rejection - CO V IDs, Kosova Prees has also sought answers from the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, but the latter have not returned any answers.

Over a thousand and 200 health professionals from September engaged in pandemic management, but have consistently expressed trouble for not paying regularly.
