Mehaj hosts German Defence Minister at meeting, she makes sure Germany continues to be Kosovo partner

According to the Defence Ministry communiqué, Russia's military aggression over Ukraine was discussed at this meeting, as well as current security developments in the region and beyond.
In this case, Minister Mehej thanked Minister Lambricht for the contribution made to providing security from German troops, which are part of KFOR.
“further, at this meeting, talked about the good reports between Kosovo and Germany, where a major contribution to the two countries' approach has provided the Kosovo diaspora in Germany, well integrated, with their number at around 400 000”, said further in the communiqué.
Minister Mehaj stressed that both countries also share common values in democratic governance and urged German state support for the quick membership of the Republic of Kosovo in NATO.
He has also asked Minister Lambrecht for the possibility of co-ordination of KSF troops on international missions, where German troops are engaged.
“While, Minister Lambrecht stressed that as until now, the German state will continue to offer support to the Republic of Kosovo. She stressed that Kosovo and Germany are reliable and honest partners with each other.
At this meeting, the possibility of renewing the Understanding Agreement between the two countries was cited, as well as the signing of the SOFA” Agreement, said in the communique.
