Environment, Space Planning and Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu has said the challenges of this dictatorship are small water capacity, confrontation with air pollution from large warehouses in the country.
During reporting to the Commission for Environment, Food, Agriculture, Planning and Development, Minister Aliu said that Kosovo's water reserves are only 50 million cubic metres of water, which remain in much-built reserves.
The ministry's three main fig trees are the water issue because water capacity in our country is very limited. Our water reserves are extremely small as rivers flow out of our country. We have 50 million cubic metres of water stored in our country in the reserves built by past”
Aliu said that compared to Albania, Kosovo has about 80 per cent less water capacity.
The other aspect with which the target of the next focus is the environment, which has to do with air and soil poisoning. When we talk about land, you know waste, dangerous waste, and especially urban waste. I would like to emphasize that the situation in our country is very serious because it is done in storehouses that aim to expand and have numerous effects on earth poisoning and environmental degradation. It has been practical to open new depots and capsules, and this trend must be completed with a conclusion that should be in line with European Union policies. According to this, the priority is given to recycling, reusing it, producing energy from it, and storing it”, Aliu said.
