US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Hovenier has reacted to the meeting of Prime Minister Kurti with National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

Through a Twitter post, Havenier said that Kurti's meeting place is one of the most important offices in the White House, not the hall or something, as referred to by the media.

He even recalled his meeting with former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci a few years ago in the same office where Kurt was.

I was surprised to see some inaccurate and fraudulent stories in the local press about Prime Minister Albin Kurti's whereabouts at cabinet-level meetings with National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. The Eisenhower Executive Office building is part of the White House. The complex and high-level meetings, including the president, Vice President and National Security Adviser, are held in a routine there, Houvenier wrote.

We remember Kurt paid a visit to the United States that lasted for almost 18 days. There were no meetings with top state officials, but he met with dozens of technology companies, until they were asked to invest in Kosovo.

The opposition repeatedly criticised Kurt's visit, calling it an excusing of the walk. Some of them even said Kurt should not stay that long until the country is facing numerous problems.
