The great writer, Ismail Kadare, has decided to leave Paris, where he has lived and worked for decades to settle in Albania.
Asked if you see the best Albanians today, the writer answers: “sometimes I believe we are, sometimes not. But time will tell”
He has demonstrated his decision to return home.
“has not been an immediate choice. It's been a slow, indistinguishable choice. That's how he shot. I have found myself here to say better what I could say for any occasion, about happy or desperate times in life. In all cases, it seems to me that I would be fit in this form that I am”, Kadare said in an interview for A2 CNN.
The genius of Albanian letters has confessed that he reads works from a variety of foreign authors, and he admits that just as many authors have influenced his formation as a writer.
“Today Kadare reads everything that a reader can read, everywhere, in every language, in every people everywhere. It's a lot of happiness, and it's a lot of happiness for us that are too much”.
