AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has praised Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to The Hague to leaders of the KLA, who are being charged by the Special Court.
Haradinaj says it is a noble gesture, while saying he has no plans for himself to go to The Hague and that he hopes KLA leaders will come to Kosovo as soon as possible free.
I liked the visit of Albania's prime minister. That was nice. Very nice. I didn't make plans to go out there. I don't like anything there. I've had enough of”, he said.
“wish them to come as soon as”, Haradinaj added to T7.
He further said Rama did not find it easy to visit The Hague.
It's not easy either. Prime Minister of a Legal State, NATO member. It was a noble gesture. But after the end of that, an Albanian visited some Albanians”, he concluded.
Nevertheless, Haradinaj has reacted after the Special Court in The Hague sentenced former heads of associations released by the KLA's war of Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj.
Haradinaj has said he is continuing goals on KLA and Kosovo.
“are continuing these consequences on deliverors. Nazim as a child has been a political prisoner, a part of the war. The whole family in prison, father in prison, sisters, mother. As a family, they are among the national generations witnessed. We must fight for the epilogue of justice. The truth must be witnessed in the courtroom”, he said.
It is known that the sensitive data of a judicial body or investigators is protected by law and that no one not authorized can expose them. Then I have warned them, I have criticized them, but I think that both Nasim and Hyshua at the time did not think all these aspects, but convinced that they are showing a situation have done so”, Haradinaj added.
Otherwise, the Special Court has spent four and a half years on Hysni Gucatin and Nasim Haradinaj, including their stay in custody, as well as on a lot of 100 euros to publish special court documents that were brought by strangers to KLA offices in Pristina in 2020.
Gucati and Haradinaj were arrested on 25 September 2020 in Pristina, Kosovo, and transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, on 25 September and 26 September 2020 respectively. Their first appearances as suspects were held before single judges, Nikola Giyu, on September 29th and October 1, 2020.
Gucati and Haradinaj have pleaded innocent to the charges. Their trial began on October 7, 2021, as the testing procedure in the case closed on February 3, 2022. The verdict is not of a formal form and can be appealed by convict lawyers.
