He wrote in a Facebook post that a society is as free as it has free media.
According to him, the degree of democracy is measured by the level of freedom of speech, freedom of thought and media.
“are extremely disturbing the attacks made on media journalists, by various exhibits of current power. Media freedom must be intact. This is an obligation, not only constitutional and legal but also moral! Today on World Media Freedom Day, to unite in defense of these non-negotiable values of democracy”, Haradinaj wrote.
