Good Governance Cabinet added to a <x0 ministerial” of defence

Through a video presentation, the head of The PDK expressed happiness that an expert on national security and defence, such as Besa Kabashi-Ramaj, will lead one of the most important cabinet departments for Good Governance in the PDK.

Besa Kabashi-Ramaj is also a member of the PDK leadership.

“Bes has more than 10 years of experience in the area of security and international affairs, national security, public policies, security sector and defence areas reforms. In addition to Kosovo, Besa has studied and worked in the US and Europe, with international and intercultural teams, in the areas of national security, security reform in the security sector, as well as human protection and security. With her experience, along with an exemplary team within the Department of Defence and National Security, Besa will lead the work of offering our alternative to the areas of defence and security, which will be among the CEC's priority areas.”, Krasniqi stressed.

On the other hand, Department of Defence and National Security Co-ordinator Besa Kabashi-Ramaj expressed gratitude for the confidence given in the task, saying national security should be the basis of the state of Kosovo, built with labor and sacrifice.

We can only together create a secure future, a future for our children to consider here, in Kosovo, and not anywhere away from it. Therefore, in the construction of the National Security and Defence Platform, we invite and expect close co-operation, from other parties to civil society, field experts, international partners, and all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo whose security concerns we will hear attentively.”, Kabashi-Ramaj said.

Besa Kabashi-Ramaj is second co-ordinator presented by chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, several days after the presentation of the CEC vision, which will have 15 departments.

Besa Kabashi-Ramaj is an expert on national security and protection. It bears the title Public and International Magic Relations, with emphasis on Security and Intelligence Studies, by Pittsburgh University and Bachelor in Political Science from Owachita Baptist University. She also graduated from Harvard Kennedy School of Government Executive Programme and studied at the European Centre for Security/Marshall Center.

Besa has worked in the US and Europe, with international teams, in the areas of national security, reform in the human security sector, defence and security. She is founder and leader of the B.K.R. security consulting agency. & Associates.

Over the years, Kabashi-Ramaj has held key state positions in offering her expertise in the area of national security for the Government of Kosovo.

It has research experience on issues of security, defence and human security in the Republic of Kosovo and abroad, publishing works on these topics as well.
