Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has confirmed this.
“Referenced to bilateral co-operation between the Kosovo Police and the Albanian Police, as well as to the sports match, which is expected to be held today, Kosovo Police will send several police officials to Tirana”, he said.
Police in Albania have reported that 19 police officers have been injured as a result of last night's clash between fan groups who have gone to support the team of Rome and Feyenofor in Tirana.
“As a result of the violence exercised by fans of both finalist teams, 19 State Police officers at the helm have been injured, one of whom has been wounded with cold (spits), given immediate medical assistance, and four vehicles of State Police Service” have been damaged, the report said.
