The six Western Balkan leaders will be invited to meet with EU leaders in Brussels on 23 June, the European Council announced today.

The statement reportedly will be held on the eve of the June 23rd EU summit in the morning hours at the European Council's facilities in Brussels.

The meeting's “goal is to promote increased engagement between the EU and the Western Balkans”, the statement said.
