In addition to the projects being implemented, the Greek Environment and Energy Ministry last week released a positive opinion on the construction of the <x0astMed pipeline”EastMed” ( Cyprus-Greece-Italia) specifying the project's preliminary environmental requirements.
The Greek-Bulgarian natural gas pipeline, which is expected to be operational during the summer, is the first projects the European Commission included in reports made last week for the EU Repower programme.
This programme is aimed at replacing Russian gas and hydrocarbons, despite their origins, with further development of renewable resources, diversification of supply resources, strengthening energy savings. / AT S-ANA.
