During reviewing the performance audit report “Procuration at the Kosovo Energy Corporation (2018-2020)”, the chairman of the Commission for Financial Supervision, Hykmete Bajram, stressed that findings by the audience at KEK are very disturbing, as there are dozens of contracts signed with direct negotiation and lack of transparency.
MP Bajrami has said that 181.5m euros were spent in that period, out of them about 60m euros in negotiated contracts, which has caused more expensive contracts.
It has counted the contracts, even in terms of purchase of provisions, which, according to her, have been harmful to the KEK budget.
KEK's chief chief chief, Nagip Krasniqi, has not denied being found by the audience, but said he doesn't get a wire, because since KEK's helm has arrived in October 2021.
Anni that he did not take responsibility for the author's findings in the period 2018-2020, he said neglect has influenced KEK's to address these types of negotiated contracts.
Even Skender Haziri, chairman of the KEK trumpet, said there is no complete information on procurement activities that took place in the period 2018-2020, but promised that the new board would take measures to improve the procurement at KEK.
“There has been mismanagement, there is room for improvement, some of them are starting to improve by 2021. I assure you all the recommendations of the ZKA have to be carried out”, Haziri stressed.
PDK MP Rashit Qalaj has praised the procurement report at KEK as fairly bad and disturbing. According to him, the procurement process at KEK is suspicious.
Meanwhile, during the report, there was a verbal clash between PDK deputy Hajdar Beqa and Halil Thaci from the VV.
MP Beqa said MP Thaci had influence on the latest competition in KEK, while the latter has denied, saying these are slanders.
The chief chief chief and KEK board are continuing to report to the commission in question concerning the procurement in the company.
