The following is a review of mass attacks in recent years.

BU FFALO, May 14, 2022 An armed man shot and killed 10 African-Americans inside a supermarket in a racial attack. He was arrested and held in prison.

NEW April 12, 2022 In one of the most violent attacks, 23 people were injured when a 62-year-old man activated a smoke bomb and opened fire on a subway. He was arrested the following day.

O XFORD, November 30, 2021 4 students were killed and seven other people were injured after a teenager opened fire at a high school in Oxford, Michigan State.

INDIANAPOLIS, April 16, 2021 A former employee of the FedEx company, who had been under psychiatric care, killed eight people and injured several others at a company facility in Indiana before he committed suicide.

LOS ANGELES, March 31, 2021 - 4 persons, one of whom children, were killed during a shooting at an office building on the outskirts of the city before the suspect was arrested.

BOU LDLER, March 22, 2021 A massive attack on a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado left behind 10 people killed, including a police officer.

AT LANTA, March 16, 2021, eight people, including six women of Asian origin, were shot dead in a series of attacks in and around Atlanta. A suspected man has been arrested in connection with the murders.

MILWAUKEE, February 26, 2020, an armed person opened fire at the Molson Coors Bearage Coll in Milwaukee, killing five associates before committing suicide.

DAYTON, August 4, 2019, an armed person opened fire in the center of Dayton, Ohio, killing nine people, including his sister. The attacker was killed by the police.

E L AFTERO, August 3, 2019 A man shot 22 people dead in a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas. A statement, believed to have been written by the suspect, called the attack “a response to the Spanish invasion of Texas”. Authorities arrested the attacker.

V IGENTIA BEACH, May 31, 2019 A disgruntled public service worker opened fire on collaborators at a municipal building in Virginia, killing 12 people before being killed by police.

AU RORA, February 15, 2019 A man opened fire at a factory in Illinois after being fired, killing five workers before being killed by police.

THOU SAND OAKS, November 7, 2018 A former mariner killed 12 people in a bar in Thousand Oaks, a Los Angeles parade. Then he killed himself.

PIT T SBURGH, October 27, 2018 An armed man entered the Three of Life synagogue near Pittsburgh and shot at believers gathered to serve Shabat, killing 11 people.

SANTA FE, May 18, 2018 A 17-year-old opened fire at his high school near Houston, killing nine students and a teacher before being handed over to police officers.

PARKLAND, February 14, 2018 A former student at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killed 17 students and educators.

SU T HERLAND SPRINGS, November 5, 2017 A man expelled from the U.S. Air Force for beating his wife and child shot 26 people in a Texas church where his father - in - law prayed. Before he killed himself.

LAS V EGA, October 1, 2017 An armed man opened fire at a music festival from a hotel suite on the 32nd floor, killing 58 people before he committed suicide.

O RANDO, June 12, 2016, a gunman shot 49 people in Pulse, a gay nightclub before being shot to death by police.

SUNDINO, December 2, 2015 A husband and wife killed 14 people at a workplace in San Bernardino, southern California before they were killed in a shootout with the police.

RO SEBURG, October 1, 2015 An armed man attacked a college campus in Oregon, killing nine people before being shot to death by police.

CHARLESTON, June 17, 2015 A white Supremeist killed nine African-Americans in a church in Charleston. He was sentenced to death.

W A SHINGTON, September 16, 2013 A former Navy officer who worked as a government contractor killed 12 people in Washington, Navy Yard. He was later killed by the police.

NEWTOWN, December 14, 2012 A heavily armed person killed 26 people, including 20 children from five to 10 years of age, in an attack on Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut.

AU RORA, July 20, 2012 A masked gunman killed 12 people at a cinema in Aurora, Colorado. He was sentenced several times to life imprisonment.

FORT HOOD, November 5, 2009, a major army and psychiatrist opened fire at Fort Hood, an American Army base in Texas, killing 13 people.
