Belgium is the first country in the world to have quarantined for people affected by monkeypox, after the first three cases of infection have been recorded.
These monkey-free cases were registered Friday, allegedly linked to the four-day “Darklands” festival, which was held in the city of Antwerp.
Festival organisers declared there is reason to assume the virus was brought by foreign visitors.
Doctors in Great Britain have said that children are more vulnerable to the virus, writes The Sun.
