US to arm Ukraine with rockets against ships

Citing Biden administration officials, it is said the White House can offer Kiev, Boeing Harpoon and the Navajo Strike missiles aimed at the Russian Black Fleet, which is currently blocking Ukraine's ports.

Defence officials in the United Kingdom have said that around 20 Russian Navy ships, including submarines, are active in the region.

Officials reportedly believe the weapons could help Russian ships flee Ukrainian territory and allow the re-launch of grain shipments and other agricultural products to resume, Klankosova.tv broadcasts.

But the missiles, which cost about $15m per round and have a 300km range of action, are mainly sea-based missiles, which means Ukraine can hardly afford to hunt it off the coast.
