France's President Emmanuel Macro reiterated his concern about the dangers of spreading Ukraine's war to surrounding countries during the host of the president of Moldova, neighbor of Ukraine.

Macro called on European leaders to give a quick first answer to Moldova's EU membership bid.
While Moldova's president Maya Sandu welcomed the “initiative” to form a European political community, which, according to her, would allow Moldova of “to accelerate its” membership in the European Union.
“I welcome President Macron's initiative to form a European political community that will support and accelerate our EU accession process”, she said in a statement with her French counterpart before the Elysee Palace.
She said Moldova is a country of European history and that will undoubtedly have a European future, expressing “Chisinev's” determination to become an EU member.
She said she understands that it is a long and complex process, which requires much effort and work, that Moldova does not want to cut that road, that it is willing to make efforts.
Moldova applied for EU membership on March 3rd, just like Georgia on the same day, while Ukraine applied on February 28th.
