Montenegro's Prime Minister, Dritan Abazovic, has said he will respond positively to the invitation of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq for the Open Balkans “”.
“I will respond to the invitation of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vuciq to attend the Open Balkans Summit in Ohrid. I will go to the quality of Prime Minister”, Abazovic said, stressing that any regional initiative, which can accelerate integration, is something to be accepted.
The country's prime minister, who so far has refused participation in this regional initiative, has said he has not heard valid arguments why Montenegro should not be part of the “Open Balkans”>>
If someone has ideas to make a replacement for European integration, we're not interested, but I haven't really heard a valid argument saying the Open Balkans isn't good for Montenegro. I haven't heard valid arguments from the state”, Abazovic said, writes B92, broadcasts Clankosova.tv.
Otherwise, Montenegro's Albanian prime minister had warned in the exclusive interview given to the “Rubikon” of Kosovo that it is pro “Open Balkans”.
He had said that this initiative is designed to have the six countries of the Western Balkans within itself and that it is Kosovo that, as well, refuses participation, benefits most by being part of this initiative.
