The Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (APRK), in the case of a May, international day of workers, has expressed its concerns about the workers' conditions at the workplace.
According to the director of the agency, Drin Harachija, there are about 83,000 active job seekers who, after six months, if they don't ask for work again, switch to the list of passive job seekers.
This number, according to him, results in a lack of primary work conditions.
As he says, there is always room for improving working conditions.
If they want business to be close to workers, then they have to meet their” requirements.
“As for this May one, the workers' status every time has room for an upgrade”.
“Ven to note that one of the primary conditions is safety and health at work, the latter is required by workers”, he has said of RTV Dukagjin.
According to him, recent action on the rise of minimum wage is one factor that affects workers ' conditions, and the employer plays a role in these conditions.
“Businesses have a very important role in this job, so that they have workers close to themselves, because the market is open and there can be movement on various businesses, which provide health insurance and better working conditions with dignified salaries”, Harachija has said.
“This is a way between both sides, employers and employers, but primary are working conditions”.
He noted, among other things, that the subx0 Employment Agency can be addressed to any citizen, mainly unemployed, but that employees can also benefit from the different programs that we have within the framework of practical training measures. Under the Employment Agency, there are professional training centers that provide training in various profiles. ”
In addition, there are other benefits for those who head to the employment office, because besides active measures they have, they can also benefit direct mediation in the labour market”.
This means that, the employment adviser based on an applicant profile can guide or advise him to run to business x, which has declared free jobs at the Employment Agency, that is, mediating for regular employment based on the profile and skills he has, and the demand he has business”, he added.
Harachi has eventually appealed to citizens to employment offices, for in addition to active measures they can take advantage of, they can also benefit direct intervention in the labour market.
