Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his speech late Saturday, has declared that Russian aggression is not limited to Ukraine, but the target is the whole of Europe.
Zelensky urged the West to impose a full embargo on Russian energy products and supply Ukraine with additional weapons.
He said Russia's use of force was “a catastrophe that would inevitably hit all of”.
Zelensky also said Ukraine is ready for a tough battle, as Russian forces were gathering east of the country.
This will be a difficult battle, we believe in this war and our victory. We are willing to fight simultaneously and seek diplomatic ways to end this” war.
Zelensky: I'm committed to peace
Zelensky, on the other hand, has indicated he continues to be committed to “for peace”, despite Russian attacks on his civilians. His comments to the Associated Press come after days of meetings with foreign leaders.
Zelenskyy: Great Britain Willing to Restore Kiev After the War
In his speech to the Zelensky nation, he added that the United Kingdom was “ready to take on the restoration of Kiev” after the war.
During his speech, he praised Boris Johnson for his surprise visit to Kiev.

He also called on all countries to impose a full oil embargo on Russia in order to drown one of its main income streams.
