Russian forces have also withdrawn from the Hostomel key airport near Kiev, the United Kingdom Defence Ministry has said.
Russia said earlier this week it would drastically reduce its military operations around Kiev and Chernihiv, and analysts expect it to focus its attention on eastern Ukraine.
