Former US President Donald Trump said today he has no intention of returning to Twitter even if his account is unlocked because billionaire Elon Musk bought the social network.
Trump told Fox News he would join his Truth platform next week, as planned.
I'm not going back on Twitter, I'm staying in Truth. I hope Elon buys Twitter, because he wants to improve it and he's a good man, but I'm still at Truth”, Trump explained.
Social media platform of the Trump Media & Technology Group, T RUH Social, officially launched last month and has been operating for four days as part of a whole new glade service.
Trump was permanently suspended from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapshot after the riots in Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Twitter praised some of his posts about violent protests as lighting and warned of “the risk of further inciting violence”.
Earlier today it was officially announced that the founder of Tesla and Spacex, Elon Musk, bought Twitter for $44 billion.
