The cities where the strikes are going to be: Espoo, Helsinki, Kaunainen, Vantaa, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Turku and Kuopio.
The union has failed to find common language with the government on many issues.
The main issue is rising wages.
The strike will include a total of 81,000 employees in Espoo, Helsinki, Jyväskyä, Kaunainen, Kuopio, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vantaa, according to YLE. In the capital region alone, around 31,000 employees are set to go on strike.
It is worth remembering that even in Kosovo very quickly education workers are expected to go on strike due to wages disputes with the government.
