It's still unclear how much acid was in the tank, but the substance is “enough toxic”, Luhansk's regional military administration head Serhiy Hasai warned on Tuesday.
People are told to stay inside or wear wet masks in the sodium solution and look at the wind course.
“Better wait inside, this acid will decompose after the rain. But nobody knows when it's gonna rain. So please look at this pink cloud and if it moves towards you please hide inside and wait inside. It was a direct blow to the tank”, Hasai said in a statement, writes CNN, broadcast the Express newspaper.
Such attacks come after the Russian Army said it is shifting its focus to the eastern region of Donbas following a withdrawal of forces from the coast of Kiev and northern Ukraine.
