The U.S. State Department's publication reportedly has used its political power by engaging in corrupts for personal gain.
He said he feels sorry for that.
According to him, these charges have been prepared by the current government.
My long-term efforts to resolve the name issue in a different way than what was finally resolved, decisions related to the immigrant crisis and the closure of the Balkan corridor in 2016, and several other decisions I tried to protect Macedonia's state and national interests have irritated several countries and attracted many opponents, such as George Soros, who made a lot of efforts and funding to bring down the government that I directed<1>.
From this aspect, even though I have no US property, I feel great injustice because I have worked very honestly and with great responsibility in fighting for state and national interests and have tried as hard as I could not to endanger the interests and allies of Macedonia. I never worked for personal financial or material interests”, Gruevski wrote.
Former Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is currently standing as asylum seekers in Hungary.
