Rama: For common president we would have put Hashim Thaci, vote with conviction

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has held a conference for journalists outside the party headquarters after the SP chairmanship meeting.

Asked whether it would now be the opportunity to elect a joint president with Kosovo, Rama replied:

We would have put Hashim Thaci and it would have been excellent and we would have voted with conviction, but unfortunately he is not present for the time being in the Albanian community as a free citizen, as a process is under way, which, don't make me tell you what process is”.
