At today's parliamentary session, with MP Fridon Lala's proposal again being postponed for a upcoming review of the Law on Changing the Law for Official Festivals in the Republic of Kosovo.
Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca has said that for this bill, two-thirds approval of MPs -- including minorities -- is required.
We are opening a 24 February point, the Bill for Official Festivals in the Republic of Kosovo remains. This is also the law of vital interest, should have the approval of two-thirds of minorities”, he said.
Similarly, it has failed to get the green “Resolution from parliamentary debate on price hikes, as only MPs were pro, none against and 63 abstentions.
The Assembly has in principle adopted the Bill for Change of Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and inaugurated the Ad-Hoc Commission for electing candidates for a member of the Independent Media Commission from the ranks of the Albanian community.
Until the election of a member of the Kosovo Radio Television Board has been postponed for the next meeting.
