While traveling to Malta, he was asked if he considered the offer made to visit Kiev, Pope Francescu told NBC Nea: “Yes, it is on the table”.
Last month, Kiev chairman Vitaly Klitschko has sent a letter to the pope asking him to visit the capital, saying his presence would be “key to life saving and pave the way to peace”.
