The Court of Appeals in Pristina has ruled for the benefit of Indira Mujaj, the headscarf worker who was suspended from her job as a civil servant.
The news has revealed the activist from Mitrovica municipality Liridon Kurti.
He has said the rule of law is being built, realizing that discrimination on religious grounds has no place in Kosovo's democracy.
“After a year and four months we have accepted the sentence by the Court of Appeals, where it has proven the return of the employee's job with the Indian Mujaj headscarf. In addition to the civil cases that are turning out to be discriminated against, our institutions should also freeze criminal cases where the responsibilities that discriminate and insult religious identity are punished, such as the macabre and disgusting case in Gjakova” wrote Kurti in Facebok.
He has also added that the veil is the value of the Albanian nation, which cannot be stopped.
