Addressing the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Metsola said the crackdown on Russia's economy should be proportional to the unprecedented atrocities we are seeing, adding that any new sanctions should target those who finance and support Putin and close any existing vacuum.
“These co-ordinated inhumane acts cannot be left unanswered and that we will require account for all the responsible,” she said.
Speaking to European lawmakers, Metsola said atrocities committed by the Russian Army in Ukraine are terrible and shameful.
“Using mass graves and killed civilians are war crimes committed by war criminals, Metsola added, who visited Ukraine last week and delivered a speech in the Ukrainian Parliament, broadcast CNN.
