Merro Base: Vjosa Osmani produced hatred and division with Albania, Kurti has been put down since he lost his bad election here.

Journalist and publicist Mero Base, in a brief conversation with Periscope, for a anniversary of Vjosa Osman at the presidency's helm, says she failed to become president of all over a year. According to Montenegro, Osman continues to remain Kurti's president. We asked Merro Basen, with the first question quite simply: [...]

In this conversation, Mero Base accuses Kurt and Osman of isolating Kosovo. It says that bad reports with Albania, with Brussels and with the US from this government deepened Kosovars' isolation.

Regarding reports with Albania, Mr. Base had an accusation about the President, saying he had hate and division with Albania.

And for Prime Minister Kurti in relation to Albania, Mero base says he went from political freedom when he lost badly in Albania.

Read over and over again Periscope's brief conversation with Mero Basen:

Periscope: Today it is a year since Vjosa Osmani has become president of Kosovo, how do you assess her work over a year?

Base: The only thing that comes to mind is that you don't remember anything. This is not a very negative assessment, since it could have been remembered for bad. Since she is the president of an athropic political alliance, Mrs. Osmani should make an effort to become an accepted president of all parties along the way. This year apparently did not plan to do so; rather, it was marked for deepening political conflict, treating political opponents as enemies. I hope I can change it in the years left.

Periscope: How was the president in relation to foreign policy?

Base: The foreign policy of a small country like Kosovo, still with problems of international recognition, is the reflection of domestic politics. Countries such as Kosovo, Albania or others in the region as better foreign policy have domestic policy. If they are democratic countries, if they are open countries and the West and without the Isolationist mentality they have Western-backed foreign policy. Otherwise, they're isolated. Kosovo has been an isolated country this year because of government policies, the isolationist mistakes of Albin Kurti, and this is reflected on their international agenda. They have time to change.

Periscope: Have you considered having good co-operation with Albania?

Base: Kosovo's reports with Albania since Albin Kurt's coming to power are the worst of 100 years, due to its protagonism and political delirium to appear as leader “Albanian footman” Deir of the splendor and megalomania of a provincial politician suffering from the minority complex in his origin in Montenegro, apparently has become a problem. He even participated in the elections in Albania a year ago, with the same delirium, but was soon cleared when he could not get even 0.1 per cent of the vote. He has since sat on the ground and began to normalise reports with the Albanian state. While Mrs. Osmani will be remembered as the president who has a passion for fostering hatred of Albania. I hope it's not inferiority complex. There are many neighbouring countries with Albania that have and historical reasons to hate this country, but have not produced as much division and hatred as Mrs. Osmani.

Periscope: Is it a failure that there is no recognition over a year for Kosovo, while Osman is president?

Base: I don't think it's just Osman's fault for this. It's Albin Kurt's policy. He created a cold war with the US and Brussels, and recognition comes from them not from Kosovo politics. The latest and most important recognition by Israel has come from the Washington Agreement that Albin Kurti has thrown into the basket.

Periscope: Osman is often accused of becoming an appendix of Kurt's policy, making <x0m” anything Kurt does. What do you think?

Base: Osman is president-elect by Albin Kurti and its low international profile comes from this cause. It had to find ways and power to reveal its identity to become Kosovo president. So far that she has found that strength, she has remained president of Albin Kurti. / P ERISCOPI/
