Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that Ukraine's efforts to evacuate Russian troops from Marioupol were facing difficulties.
In a TV interview with local media, Zelensky said the military situation in the southern town was “very difficult”.
Reuters reported that he also said Turkey had proposed a plan to help evacuate injured people and victims from the city, but warned that the initiative depended on Russian President Vladimir Putin's will.
Zelensky also said that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán would have to choose between Moscow and the other <x0 world” and that the Hungarian leader was afraid of Russian influence.
At the weekend, Orbán declared Zelenskiy on his list of opponents in the wake of his fourth consecutive victory.
