Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has said that the 100m-euro package, shared by the Government in assisting citizens, would enable businessmen to hold high prices.
Through a press conference Wednesday, Bajrami has said Kosovo citizens have not been in a more difficult and hopeless situation than they are now.
There is no article from the consumer basket, whose price has not doubled and in many sectors there is a worsening state. Citizens feel discriminated against. With the 100m-euro package, where the government seeks solutions to the economic crisis, the unemployed left out. After doubling the price of energy and when inflation reached two digits with the amount of 100 euros is trying to help the public and private sector”, Bajrami said.
“As far as the energy crisis was concerned about what the majority did for the investigative commission and is a very important constitutional right. The LDK has said it is necessary to remove taxes on basics, and excise on energy. And the government draft tax policies to attract foreign investments, but have not been taken into account. Blocking independent institutions has blocked hundreds of millions of capital investments. The procurement review body has not been functional for a long time. The Ministry of Infrastructure has signed 42 contracts worth 9m euros”, she said further.
