He said his election as MP implies continuing the political battle, fighting for Albanian rights and their fundamental rights, which, according to him, authoritarian Serbia and Vuciqi, is denying Albanians.
The “I am now alone, but it is a greater responsibility for me to be more active than I was, so that everything can be compensated because the overall political processes in which the Balkans are entering, especially with a major twist expected to make Serbia around Russia and the EU, which I think will be forced to meet EU standards”, have been expressed in Klan Kosova.
Asked whether he received any congratulations from his Albanian political opponent in the Valley, Shqirim Arifi, Kamberi responded negatively, but said he hoped such a thing would happen next.
I didn't get a wish from Shqip Arifi, but I hope that today or tomorrow I will get this wish, because our battle with Belgrade is the common Albanian battle, regardless of local competition”.
Belgrade's discriminated policy is equally discriminatory as to membership, which is about the Coalition of Albanians as to membership representing Shqirim Arifi. I expect support in the coming days from him in the first place as Presevo municipality head”, Camberi has said, Klakosova.tv reported.
On the other hand, he said that in the new mandate in Serbia's Parliament, there is expected to be fierce debates, not only the position that Vuciq leads, but also with MPs of the far right. n
I must insist on realising Albanian rights and being denied. They are fundamental rights, rights that are promoted by all EU standards but denied to Albanians, and these are the topics that I should present to Serbia's parliament, where in view of the actual composition, not only the MPs of the majority but even the far-right one will have severe debates”, Camberi says, Klanosovatv.
We remember that Shaip Kamberi was elected the only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament.
