Northern Macedonia's first Deputy Prime Minister, Artan Grubi, has spoken about the election of Dritan Abazovic as Montenegro's prime minister.
Grubi expressed happiness in Abazovic's election as prime minister, while adding that his work will be difficult, but with his energy it will bring good results.
He further said that the Albanian prime minister at the helm of Montenegro has completely the same conviction as those of official Pristina, Tirana and official Skopje.
His political “and ideals are generally compatible with mine, Rama and Kurti, and I hope that together we will make efforts to integrate the entire region into NATO and the EU”, Grubi is expressed in Klan Kosova.
As for regional initiatives such as <x0p>Open Balkans”, Grubi said Kosovo should always be protagonist at every table, because, according to him, it is never alone, but only fourth.
Kosovo should be protagonistic at any table where the future of the Western Balkans is spoken of, because Kosovo is never alone, and I stressed that Kosovo itself is the third and now the fourth of its own at every regional forum, whether it is “Open Balkans”, whether the Berlin Process or any other” format, Grubi has been expressed, Klanosova reported.
As for the issue of recognising Kosovo's independence from Serbia, Grubi said that the latter certainly has to do so.
Serbia certainly has to recognise Kosovo as a state, which the entire democratic world has recognised, and if it wants to continue its own EU-right path, however, this should be the final epilogue for Serbian foreign policy”.
However, initiatives such as the Balkan Process or the Outcome Balkans have to find at the negotiating table because Kosovo is not alone there, and we will help argue the need for the immigration recognition of Kosovo on the part of Serbia”, Grubi said, Clankosova.tv reported.
And as for the possibility of a joint meeting between the Kosovo government, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro, Grubi said that formal meetings do not prevent regular communication between the leaders of these states.
There are no regional issues for which we are not co-ordinated, there are no open issues for Kosovo that we do not come up with or we are assisting at any international forum, either as NATO members or as aspiring countries for the green light EU to start negotiations”.
“Without the need for formalities, we are in daily contact and compatible 100 percent with our beliefs, about how we want to see the Western Balkans integrated into NATO and the EU”, Grubi has indicated.
