The government has put their heads in the sand for Martin Berisha's scandal, it's like nothing's happening.

Foreign policy researcher Emir Abrashi has accused the current power of double standards, as he took no measures towards Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berisha, following the implications of a financial scandal in Slovenia. Berisha's name is next to the party chairman Movement for Freedom in Slovenia, Robert Golob, who has won the election. [...]
Berisha's name is next to the party chairman Movement for Freedom in Slovenia, Robert Golob, who has won the election. According to TV plans, Slovenian politician is being investigated internationally for several transactions he has sent from a Serbian branch of Slovenian energy supplier GEN-I to the Kosovo ambassador's company MB Consulting. Based on this report, Berisha's company has received 600 euros, which it has gradually released in cash allegedly returned to Golub, which he then invested in one of the Italian funds providing to anonymous users. Berisha himself has denied these accusations and warned of indictment against the Slovenian media, while the heads of state have come to his defense.
According to Abrasch, the approach of power -- in defence of Berisha -- is wrong.
“Diplomatic scandals happen to almost every country, but the way the government of those countries handles it is different from how the Government of Kosovo is treating it. We have a government that's come with promises of different approaches, and now just when people close to them are getting involved in diplomatic scandals, they're putting their heads in the sand, trying to pretend that nothing happened to weren't going to happen, Abrashi said at KTV's interactive “, adding that Berisha had to be released from duty no matter what the court decision was about.
“We can expect other countries to take action and convict him of involvement in the scandal and then start taking action. We must precede things. MPJ must isolate scandals and take quick action. Do not expect in the future to catch him, the Republic of Croatia will declare people non-grath. So the MPJ must be extremely fast in reaction”, Abrashi added.
According to him, Berisha's failure to remove “is a double standard” of power.
Our state image near an ally like Croatia is being threatened. I know what makes Berisha immune, but strange how the president came out that day and said he believes him. In his letter to Kosovo's citizenship application, Berisha had written to Osmani that he is in the leadership of Vetevendosje. This raises the question that maybe it's one of the VV funders. They should be involved. There are double standards in two cases. Berisha and the diplomat in Skopje and the first gentleman, don Sadriu. He took punishment action against him. There are double standards by Foreign Affairs Minister (Donika Grovall), which also holds the position of deputy prime minister. They're unacceptable, and they create inconsistencies because everyone else is vulnerable, but for VV officials and the first official, they're immune. Sughta justice and equality in the Serbian Foreign Service”, he has said, adding that “If it were Berisha from another party, it would be dismissed as early as August 2021, along with other ambassadors, as they have returned”.
