Johannes Vogel, from the Liberal Free Democrats party, confirmed in a report to the daily Seuddeutsche Zeitung that Defence Minister Christine Lambricht is expected to offer weapons during Tuesday's meeting with American allies at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who has faced criticism in the country as well as outside him over his government's failure to send heavy arms to Ukraine, has pledged to send anti-tank and anti-airplane weapons from German Army markets, which he named as the “army”. / P ERISCOPI/
